April 8th, 2013 by admin

“Something happened with the brakes,” Busch said. “The pedal felt spongy going into three and four and I gave it a courtesy pump and it came to. I go down the front straightaway and gave it another courtesy pump and it went straight to the floor. Something failed with it and I just turned it to the right and fenced it instead of running head on into the fence.”

Garrett McNamara World Record

February 2nd, 2013 by admin

The Hawaiian surfer Garrett McNamara has broken his own world record he made in 2011 for the new one catching around 100ft off largest wave at the coast of Nazaré, Portugal.

“Cotty and I surfed two big waves of about 60ft and then, when Garrett was ready came a canyon wave of over 90ft. The jet ski was the best place to see him riding the biggest wave I’ve ever seen. It was amazing. Most people would be scared but Garrett was controlling everything in the critical part of the wave. It was an inspiring ride by an inspiring surfer.”

Also watch this fantastic flying among gigantic waves on the video! It’s just incredible!

Lance Armstrong Disqualified

August 24th, 2012 by admin

Lance Armstrong, 7 times Tour de France winner, has been disqualified from ironman France for doping. Also he will be disqualified from every competition he participated in since August 1998, including all titles and a bronze medal in the 2000 Summer Olympics. He will also be banned from competing and coaching any sport that follows the World Anti-Doping Code and forfeit any money he won.

“There comes a point in every man’s life when he has to say, “Enough is enough.” For me, that time is now. I have been dealing with claims that I cheated and had an unfair advantage in winning my seven Tours since 1999. Over the past three years, I have been subjected to a two-year federal criminal investigation followed by Travis Tygart’s unconstitutional witch hunt. The toll this has taken on my family, and my work for our foundation and on me leads me to where I am today – finished with this nonsense” Armstrong said in a statement issued Thursday night.

“I had hoped that a federal court would stop USADA’s charade. Although the court was sympathetic to my concerns and recognized the many improprieties and deficiencies in USADA’s motives, its conduct, and its process, the court ultimately decided that it could not intervene.”
