World Cup Time

June 16th, 2010 by Lay

South Africa FIFA World Cup 2010 is continuing then it means that getting all together with our friends and family to watch football matches we sit back, relax, and just get a pleasure with a break from the work and from our day to day lives.

Tonight sensation is Switzerland team that actually is far from a world-class pushover, beat Spain squad, Del Bosque’s European champions 1-0! It may be the biggest surprise of the World Cup 2010 tournament. It’s really surprisely because they were not expected and the win was not predicted until the second round. However it’s good for the Swiss and at the same time it can’t guarantee them a trip to the next round.

I’m sure that all of you who love this sport game can tell an own thrilling story about favorites, their goals and matches, about deepest disappointments and greatest triumphs, about equipment and custom team football kits, about the football you love.

How about glory? What do you think about the 2010 FIFA World Cup’s best player? I just want to remind you past recipients who got Golden Ball award:

Mexico 1970 – Pele
West Germany 1974 – Johan Cruyjff
Argentina 1978 – Mario Kempes
Spain 1982 – Paolo Rossi
Mexico 1986 – Diego Maradona
Italy 1990 – Salvatore Schillaci
USA 1994 – Romario
